My Bio
Life-long artist having explored a wide range of the artistic landscape.
Born with a rare disability, making me short in stature and in a wheelchair (the words 'confined' or 'bound' are so silly). The 80's were still a time when also having an affinity with computers, made you a REAL nerd, and not the current geek-chic b.s, but I invested time knowing that eventually, it would allow me to create the ideas fully without physical limitations. By the early '90's and taking all of 1 computer art class in college at that time, I was given the chance to explore whatever I wanted at the NCSA labs. I was also experimenting with painting in Photoshop when the notion of such a thing was just crazy to most artists.

While I'm primarily known for cartooning throughout my early years, I'm also (at least moderately) proficient with sci fi & fantasy art, conceptual design, creative coding, and whatever I'm into...this week.

The best thing I have ever learned/discovered is that every one of my wide and varying interests outside of art (directly) may seem counterproductive to most but they all enrich my creative well and understanding of art.

Whether you're a cartoonist or animator, chances are you know the name Chuck Jones.  He created such immortal characters as Wile E. Coyote, The Road Runner, Pepe lePew, and others and while he didn't invent Bugs, or Daffy, he's certainly responsible for the way we know him and honestly much of what may often be recognized as the 'Warner Brothers style'. While he is gone, not only does his legendary work live on but so does much of his personality, dreams, and goals through various things but most notably The Chuck Jones Center for Creativity. It's an amazing organization dedicated to fostering the creativity in children (and adults) in a so
